General Membership Meeting
Join us for the Walworth Democrats’ monthly meeting to learn more about how to get involved with electing Democrats & building community this spring.
We just learned that Justice Rebecca Dallet will speak at our General Membership meeting on February 13th representing Judge Susan Crawford. Justice Dallet is one of four sitting Justices who have endorsed Crawford to join the high bench.

We will also welcome a second guest speaker, Kathleen Blake representing Worth Fighting For Wisconsin. Her presentation, entitled Dissent Defines Democracy, will focus on mobilizing after the November election results, Trump taking office, and how to fight back in a MAGA administration.
All members of the Democratic Party of Walworth County are encouraged to attend and may vote.

Immigration Law speaker (Community Event, not Walworth Dems)
Matheson Public Library, Elkhorn
Attorney Brigette Kutschma of Soberalski Immigration Law will provide an immigration law presentation, sharing her knowledge regarding complicated immigration issues, in both English and Spanish. The presentation includes a discussion of current family and humanitarian-based immigration options, such as family pathways, protections for crime and abuse victims (U-Visa & VAWA), DACA, Green Card & Employment Authorization renewals, US Citizenship, asylum, juvenile cases, and more. She will also discuss immigrant rights and protection in the home, community, and at work. Participants are encouraged to bring questions to the event.

Walworth County will be hosting an event as part of the national People's March in Washington D.C. along with many other locations across the country.

Elkhorn Christmas Parade
If you are interested in helping to plan our float, come to the meeting at the Elkhorn office on Sunday, November 24, at 1 pm. Bring your ideas. We will likely decide when work on the float will be done at the same time.
LINE UP at our float at the Fair Grounds at 1 pm.
Parade time 1:30 - 3:00.
If it is very cold, you may consider waiting in the library and joining the parade when you see our float coming.
